Committees of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County

Committee Members may be members of the Board of Directors or members of the greater Rockland Jewish community interested in working on behalf of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County.

Standing Committees

Allocations/Grants

This committee made up of board and community members, reviews applications for allocations and grants and presents recommendations to the board of directors for approval

Audit, Budget and Finance

Works with the Comptroller, Executive Director and Treasurer to ensure compliance for annual audit from an outside independent audit firm. Responsible for the financial oversight of the Federation.

Campaign

This committee will work on campaign related events as well as develop and implement innovative ways to increase the financial resources of Federation.

Legacy and Endowment Giving (in formation)

Responsible for the management and solicitation of planned giving to support the future of the Federation.

Community Relations Council (CRC)

CRC mission is to educate and advocate on issues of vital importance to the organized Jewish Community in Rockland County. CRC will accomplish this goal in three vital areas: Israel Advocacy, inter-group relations, and combating anti-Semitism.

Sub committee of the executive board responsible for all major personnel matters.

Responsible for the development and solicitation of future Federation board leaders.
