Hillel Rockland
 

Under the inspiring leadership of Rabbi Dov and Shevy Oliver, Hillel brings together hundreds of students from Rockland Community College as well as recent graduates to celebrate Jewish experiences, including Shabbat dinners, Birthright missions, musical programs, and advocacy workshops. This year Federation has been proud to deliver and partner in programs addressing Jewish unity, the challenges of antisemitism, new security challenges, and productive engagement with College administrators.
 

Rockland Community College is facing significant financial challenges, and we are closely watching to see how these may impact Jewish students. We will work closely with Hillel to address these as they develop. We also work with the ADL, and are now part of their local analysis in producing their college scorecard for RCC. We have a continuing interest in developing a new generation of leaders for local organizations as well as involvement in Federation programming. Hillel is and must continue to be a source of volunteers for Federation programming, advocacy for Israel and the Jewish people.
