Committees of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County
Committee Members may be members of the Board of Directors or members of the greater Rockland Jewish community interested in working on behalf of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County.
This committee made up of board and community members, reviews applications for allocations and grants and presents recommendations to the board of directors for approval
Marketing, Branding, Communications and Public Relations
Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Federations visibility in the community.
Budget and Finance
Responsible for the financial oversight of the Federation
Works with the Comptroller, Executive Director and Treasurer to ensure compliance for annual audit from an outside independent audit firm.
This committee will work on campaign related events as well as develop and implement innovative ways to increase the financial resources of federation.
Work to develop all aspects of the federation’s educational programs, project and events including relationships with Synagogue and Temple programs.
Responsible for the management and solicitation of planned giving to support the future of the Federation.
Jewish Community Relations Council
JCRC mission is to educate and advocate on issues of vital importance to the organized Jewish Community in Rockland County. JCRC will accomplish this goal in three vital areas: Israel Advocacy, inter-group relations, and combating anti-Semitism.
Nominating Committee, Governance
Responsible for the development and solicitation of future Federation board leaders.
This committee will provide oversight for the grants distributed by the federation to make sure they are in compliance with rules set forth.
Celebrate Israel Parade
Help coordinate this community-wide celebration/march in NYC
Personnel and Human Resources
Sub committee of the executive board responsible for all major personnel matters.
