Thank You For Taking Federation’s Adult Education Survey
 

Offering adult Jewish education classes is very much a part of what we do at Federation. Our classes are taught by some of the finest teachers in Rockland County. Federation offers our classes both for those who belong to local synagogues and those who don’t. Since our classes are being offered virtually, you don’t even have to live in Rockland County.
 

For this semester we asked you what kinds of classes you wanted to take this fall. Based on what you told us you wanted to learn, we believe you’re going to enjoy what we have on offer.
 

Here’s the class lineup so far and the instructors who will teach them:

• Issues in American Jewish Society – Leslie Goldress
• Pirkei Avot – Rabbi Jill Hackell
• Second Temple/Sacred Cousins – Sharon Halper
• Jewish History in the Middle Ages with Emphasis on Muslim and Christian rule/interaction – Rabbi Daniel Graber
• The Jewish 60s – Rabbi Brian Leiken
• From Egypt to the Promised Land: An Archeological Perspective – Martin Cohen
